Ethel Nielsen

Ethel Nielsen lives on the opposite side of the country as the Grand Old Dame, but like many, still has connections to the old building. Her grandmother's brother, Wilbur Morrison and his second wife, Lillian Davis Morrison, both died at the hospital. Lillian died of Chronic Myocarditis and Senile Psychosis. Although William died at the hospital, Ethel says, "There was nothing wrong with his mind!" In those days, the hospital was not only a mental facility, but also a nursing home.
